Price: £85 or Early Bird price £65 (book a month or more in advance for an Early Bird saving of £20) Price includes materials and use of tools.

Experience: Improver and above - to get the most out of this course you should have made at least two items before using a sewing machine, and be able to thread up and sew with a sewing machine without help. Age 13+.

Sewing Machines: We will be providing Janome 525S sewing machines and feet to go with them. We will give you information about where to buy feet for your machine at home

Project Content:

  • Cutting out a bag pattern with leather
  • Learning about needles and stitch lengths/types
  • How to sew accurately without pinning
  • Sewing darts
  • Make a strap
  • You will receive a list of suppliers, tools needed and where to get them

What to bring: Your glasses, if you need them for close up work.

Please bring if you have it: Metal ruler, rotary cutter or scalpel/stanley knife
