Pattern Cutting (including block making)

Create a 'block' pattern for your unique body shape! This is a basic skirt, dress, top, shirt or trouser pattern that fits you perfectly and can be easily adapted into many different designs (eg add pockets, change length, change type of skirt shape etc) which fit perfectly each time.

We teach this skill in our weekly Sewing and Dressmaking classes and in One-to-One lessons in our classroom, or at your house if you live locally to our teachers

Make your block using one of our basic patterns we sell in class, we help you fit it to perfection and then can help you change the design just how you like it

"In this course I gained the confidence to follow a pattern and create a shirt block. The result is me making the best shirt I own. It feels great when I wear it and it fits me exactly as I like it, you can't get that in a shop. It gets me compliments everywhere I go!"  Tony, Hove
