What to Bring

- Fabric for Front (slipper satin, non-stretch)

75cm length* of any width polyester, viscose or silk satin fabric. Find something with a bit of drape - acetate satin and some others eg duchesse satin will be too thick/stiff for this project

- Fabric for Back & sleeves (stretch jersey or stretch lace fabric):

Fabric combo option 1 - Back, sleeves, neckband, cuffs and hem the same fabric: 130cm of lace or jersey at least 145cm wide (most stretch fabrics are 150cm wide)*

Fabric combo option 2 - Sleeves in lace. Back neckband, cuffs and hem in jersey: 1m of jersey*, 70cm of lace - both at least 145cm wide (most stretch fabrics are 150cm wide)*

- Thread: 100m reel of polyester sewing thread e.g. Coats, Gutermann, Moon

- £1 to buy pattern paper

- Bobbin: 50p if you would like to keep your bobbin if using our sewing machine

- Sewing Machines: Use our Janome 525s sewing machines or bring your own with an empty bobbin/bobbin wound with thread for this project

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Finished garment size: sleeve length is 51cm & centre back length (nape to hem) is 60cm . If you want longer body or sleeves bring twice this extra you want in fabric. If pattern matching fabric bring an extra 50cm to be on the safe side
