There are lots of FREE Repair Cafe's on along the coast near Brighton held once a month (usually with a break for August and December).

Bring your electricals, watches, jewellery, clothes inc. broken zips and more along to a Repair Cafe to get them fixed - or get advice on whether they can be revived

Sew in Brighton owner Kat regularly volunteers her sewing skills at the Newhaven Repair Cafe. She has also had numerous electrical items from her home mended by the other expert volunteers there! to date: a nutri bullet, 2 power drills, a radio, a firestick remote control, a sewing machine, a zip rucksack where the zip had shot off the end, and a dehumdifier! It's such a wonderful FREE community-based service - don't ditch that thing until you've taken it there for advice : )
