FABRIC & INTERFACING:
Stretch denim with at least 2% lycra, washed* and ironed. To find out the amount to buy, view Ginger Jeans size chart & fabric lengths here - buy an extra 25% fabric length to allow for shrinkage when washed & in case you need to re-cut any pieces for fit reasons
*IMPORTANT WASHING INFO: We recommend washing your length of denim in the bath or large tub by hand at temp you will wash finished jeans e.g. 40 degrees (use a cooking thermometer), wringing out as much as you can/squeeze dry with a towel & drip drying, as large lengths of denim usually get permanent creases in if washed in machine. n.b same applies to corduroy fabric, for future ref : )
Cotton lining fabric for waistband & pockets - 0.5m (we used a print cotton from Fabric land in Brighton, £5 mtr). Wash and iron before class
Medium weight fusible interfacing 45cm

For sewing: A 100m reel of all purpose polyester sewing thread, matching your denim colour (brands Coats, Moon or Gutermann are best)
