 Please note that Sew In Brighton Sewing School is now closed down, so these projects can only be sewn in classes with Kat Neeser on a one to one basis. Other teachers are running their own classes elsewhere, and may suggest their own projects

Essential tip before you start! Did you know that fabric often shrinks by up to 10% on its first wash? You don't want this to happen once you've sewn up your perfectly fitted garment, cushion, curtain, etc.

Experience Levels Explained

Beginner & Refresher: No sewing experience at all / need refresher of basics
Once you have learnt to use a sewing machine (in one class or less) & made one item you are an improver (improving beginner)
Improver: Have used a sewing machine to make 1 item or more e.g. cushion or bag
Intermediate: You have sewn 2 items of clothing on a sewing machine
Experienced: You have used a sewing machine to make at least 5 items including clothing with set in sleeves
